Intel® Teach Program
Shaping up the Independent Learner
Now in its 13th year, the Intel® Teach Program is the largest, most successful program of its kind, with more than 10 million teachers trained in over 70 countries. Intel Teach professional development courses help teachers integrate technology effectively into their existing curricula, focusing on their students’ problem-solving, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills—precisely the ones required in today’s high-tech, networked society.
Intel Teach Philippines was launched in 2000 with the goal of enabling pre-service and in-service teachers to change the way they teach by effectively incorporating technology in the form of digital content, Web 2.0, social networking, and online tools and resources into their pedagogical approach.
Trainings were initially conducted face to face and trainer-led but has since evolved options for independent learning where teachers can customize their professional development for Online Training and Facilitated Online Training, as well as access to Open Education Resources.
To date, Intel Philippines has trained more than 130,000 pre-service and in-service teachers.
